About Us

A couple of kiwis who lived in Australia from 2005-2007 and while we loved it here, we decided at that time to go back to New Zealand. Ali left corporate – a bit of burn out helped that decision! Then Ron was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2007. We decided we needed to “REWIRE” and “RELAUNCH” our life so we moved to Queensland, Australia, where we’ve lived since 2014, and created our “ReWire Your Life” coaching program.

We’ve been together for 20 years and have a blended family of 6 children, 5 grandies and heaps of grand fur-babies! Two of our children & several grandies, Ali’s sister and other family members live in Australia; and Ali’s Grandfather was born in Korumburra, so we feel we’ve got a foot on each side of the ‘ditch’.

Why we do what we do…

We love helping people live their best life possible. We both have extensive backgrounds coaching people in our corporate careers and our own coaching business. Ali formally qualified as a coach in 2010. We’ve worked together in various roles since 1989 and compliment each other in skills, experience and style, and our belief systems have always been closely aligned.

Ali describes herself as a Heart-Connected Reignition Catalyst who helps people re-connect their hearts and minds and Ron as a Purpose Reignition Engineer who helps people build solutions to achieve their dreams.

More About Ali

Ali is an experienced health, life and business coach who is passionate about helping people and businesses get sustainable results quickly. She believes in keeping it simple and relevant – helping individuals gain clarity and uncover the solutions themselves – this way they own the solution that best fits their needs. “I really love getting people to think with their hearts and love with their minds.”

Ali has over 30 years experience in corporate and smaller businesses as well as establishing and managing her own business. Ali’s industry experience in multiple roles across health, local government, information technology, telecommunications, the building sector and property development is a major advantage in being able to quickly empathise with clients and understand their particular situation.

In addition to being a qualified life and business coach and mentor, Ali has extensive experience and skills in learning and development, facilitation, sales, marketing, and project and operational management.

Working with husband Ron in various roles since 1989, they compliment each other in skills, experience and style, and say their belief systems have always been closely aligned. Ali and Ron both have extensive backgrounds coaching people in their corporate careers and their own coaching business.

Believing in walking the talk, Ali endeavours to live a healthy life and 6 years ago participated in a 15km fundraising charity run for The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. This was in spite of breaking her back when she was younger and never having run more than 5kms prior to this event! Using the inspirational tools and scientific methodologies that Ali uses in her client toolkit and coaching sessions got her across the finish line. And helped to raise funds for an amazing hospital looking after sick and injured children.

Ali continues to enjoy a more leisurely run nowadays along with regular yoga, cycling and walking.

More About Ron

As a Purpose Reignition Engineer, Ron uses his extensive skills and experience to help people create, plan and implement solutions to achieve their goals and dreams.

Ron has had an extensive career with Telecom New Zealand (now known as Spark) over 39 years, commencing with managing extensive network engineering projects in the Bay of Plenty/Central plateau region of New Zealand. His people leadership skills and flair for operational management saw him rapidly advance to senior general management positions, including Director of Operations for one of Telecom’s largest regional subsidiary companies.

Pursuing his passion for customer service and operational excellence, combined with proven ability to lead and motivate large teams, led to Ron developing in the 1990’s one of the first and largest inbound sales and service call centre operations in New Zealand (Telecom 123), setting the benchmark in New Zealand for excellence in customer service and staff and shareholder satisfaction.

Previously known as ‘Mr Customer Service’, Ron is not only approachable and a great listener, he has extensive skills and experience in business management, leadership, operations, financial management and strategic planning. He’s great at identifying the gaps and is the ‘glue’ that sticks any team together. He is passionate about developing and building practical solutions for his clients.

He is also a past President of Coastguard North Shore and Treasurer of Browns Bay Marine Centre, Auckland.

Having Multiple Sclerosis has highlighted the need to live as healthy a life as possible. This includes cycling several times a week (and no – his bike is not electric!) as well as regular gym workouts which are tailored to his specific needs and capabilities and short walks. As Ron says “I may have MS but MS does not have me!”
