Module 1: ThinkWell

  • Choices- Ultimately, it’s up to us as to how we choose to live our lives and the most fundamental choice we make is our MindSet.
  • Conscious Awareness - being aware in the moment of what we’re doing, thinking and saying
  • Creating New Habits - motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going
  • Clarity - what's working for you and what's not? Where am I right now, where do I want to go, and why?
  • Change - the desire to change is the number one key to success. Change your MindSet - change your results!

Module 2: BodyWell

"Take care of your body - it's the only place you have to live"

  • SleepWell - A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor’s book.
  • MoveWell - No matter how slow you go, you're still lapping everybody on the couch.
  • EatWell - When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When diet is correct, medicine is of no need.
  • Balance - Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.
  • Invest - in your "BMS" wellness - what is your current BMS score?

Module 3: MoneyWell

  • Aspirations - Having a Financial Plan that supports achieving your Life Plan
  • Abundance Mindset - allowing you to feel plentiful, creative and inspired.
  • Assess - What do you own, owe, earn and spend?

  • Act - taking action, not just thinking about it!

Module 4: PlanWell

  • Goals - define and set S.M.A.R.T. goals
  • Steps - break goals down into smaller, more manageable steps
  • Resources - Identify the resources you will need
  • Timeline - create a timeline for each step
  • Take Action - putting your plan into action, and celebrating your successes

Module 5: LiveWell

  • Purpose - What gets you out of bed with a spring in your step every morning
  • ConnectWell - Building meaningful relationships and connections

  • Keep Learning - become a life-long learner - age is no barrier to the brain's ability to learn
  • Live Your Legacy - it’s not what you do for yourself, it’s what you do for others that really matters.

About Ali and Ron:

When Ron was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the end of 2007, we quickly realised that it was going to be up to us to determine how we would choose to live our lives with some of the constraints MS might impose.  

Ron was asked by many people if he was retiring (he had to leave his 39 year corporate career due to the stress, fatigue and because his right arm just didn’t work the same as a result of the MS).  This pressed a few buttons for us as the retirement word didn’t even exist in our vocabulary!  It seemed many people had labelled us with a stereotype that just wasn’t congruent with our lives, values and belief system.  

We also started to realise we did have choices and did not have to fit into a 20th century retirement model that was quickly becoming outdated and not relevant for the world we’re living in today. This was also when Ron coined the phrase that has become our mantra by which we’ve endeavoured to live – we’re “ReWired not ReTired.”

We have developed our Rewire Your Life program based on our real-life experiences and research. We look forward to sharing this with you and guiding you to Rewire Your Life.
